Narrative:

As we taxied into the gate at the completion of flight and APU bleed air began to supply the airplane, we started to smell a hot, oily smell. The smoke detectors in the aft lavatory began to sound. At the gate, the flight attendants had the last few passenger hurry off the airplane without collecting their carry-ONS. Maintenance looked at the airplane, put the APU on the MEL, and the airplane was dispatched. On climb out of harrisburg, we started to smell the smell, and the aft lavatory smoke detectors again sounded. We returned to harrisburg for landing (with the equipment standing by).
