Narrative:
Did runup, all checks ok, cleared for takeoff. Put power up. Annunciator left automatic feather housing popped out. Taxied off runway. Pushed circuit breaker in. Did checks, all system ok. Called dispatch/maintenance, cleared to go. No problems. Got to los angeles. A&P checked but could not reproduce problem. I should have written something in the log but did not consider a maintenance item to be checked. I felt that there was no safety violated. I felt I should send this in because I may not have followed all FAA rules for abort. I want this to be a learning experience. I sent this as soon as I got back from my trip. I did not have one on hand, so I sent for one. I hope I made it in time. At this time I have received no FAA investigation letters or calls.
