Narrative:
Aircraft was landing at charlotte douglas at XA18 on jul/xx/93. The aircraft was flying with inoperative anti-skid, released under an MEL. The landing was normal and the aircraft was light (82000 pounds). With normal braking (initiated at 90 KTS or less) both right main tires deflated. Outside air temperature was 89 degrees and the tires were worn, but within limits. The aircraft was able to clear the runway and no emergency was declared, nor were any emergency vehicles called. No injuries or complaints. This aircraft had been flying with the MEL for the anti-skid for several days. I feel this was improper due to the extreme temperature of recent days.

Title: 2 MAIN LNDG GEAR TIRES BLOWN OUT DURING LNDG ROLL ON MLG ACR ACFT.
Narrative: ACFT WAS LNDG AT CHARLOTTE DOUGLAS AT XA18 ON JUL/XX/93. THE ACFT WAS FLYING WITH INOP ANTI-SKID, RELEASED UNDER AN MEL. THE LNDG WAS NORMAL AND THE ACFT WAS LIGHT (82000 POUNDS). WITH NORMAL BRAKING (INITIATED AT 90 KTS OR LESS) BOTH R MAIN TIRES DEFLATED. OUTSIDE AIR TEMP WAS 89 DEGS AND THE TIRES WERE WORN, BUT WITHIN LIMITS. THE ACFT WAS ABLE TO CLR THE RWY AND NO EMER WAS DECLARED, NOR WERE ANY EMER VEHICLES CALLED. NO INJURIES OR COMPLAINTS. THIS ACFT HAD BEEN FLYING WITH THE MEL FOR THE ANTI-SKID FOR SEVERAL DAYS. I FEEL THIS WAS IMPROPER DUE TO THE EXTREME TEMP OF RECENT DAYS.
