Narrative:
Late transportation to the aircraft. 1 omega went to hardwaring, the second omega was not indicating properly upon intercept, xchk of ar-7. Took radar vector from ATC to wilmington, nc, for descent into bwi. Was given crossing (pilot's discretion) 65 south ric at 28000 ft. We were at 41000 ft and I figured we needed about 50 mi for compliance. Now we started organizing our materials for bwi (first trip into bwi for this company) and I got started down to 28000 ft too late. I believe we missed the crossing by 4000 ft high but ATC said nothing and we made our other crossing restrictions on schedule. My perception is to take care of the business at hand first and then in a timely manner take care of the other things that need to be done.
