Narrative:
Aircraft had slow #3 engine EPR rise on takeoff and aborted takeoff. Returned to gate where I inspected engine inlet and exhaust for damage. None found. Ran engines #2 and #3 to compare instruments. All were normal. Placard #3 engine EPR inoperative per MEL 77-1. Aircraft departed new orleans and flew to ewr with all engine parameters normal. Logbook entry for inlet and exhaust inspection was forgotten, but was done per MEL.
