Narrative:
We initiated takeoff roll from bwi at XX25 local. At approximately 80 KIAS, I heard a noise in the vicinity of door and door warning annunciator illuminated. I called abort and I determined that passenger had bumped door motor toggle switch and caused motor to turn (causing noise) and latches to engage upper door and activate warning light. Upon touchdown, rollout appeared normal to approximately 4000 ft down runway and aircraft had drifted to left side of runway. My copilot informed me he had lost the brakes and I took control of the aircraft. I confirmed no normal braking and activated emergency braking. The aircraft veered left and exited the runway into soft sand where we stopped. No damage or injuries. We are writing procedure to address takeoff aborts in future to dissipate heat in brakes which we believe caused this incident.

Title: ATX SMT JET ABORTS TKOF AFTER BEING AIRBORNE FOR SHORT TIME.
Narrative: WE INITIATED TKOF ROLL FROM BWI AT XX25 LCL. AT APPROX 80 KIAS, I HEARD A NOISE IN THE VICINITY OF DOOR AND DOOR WARNING ANNUNCIATOR ILLUMINATED. I CALLED ABORT AND I DETERMINED THAT PAX HAD BUMPED DOOR MOTOR TOGGLE SWITCH AND CAUSED MOTOR TO TURN (CAUSING NOISE) AND LATCHES TO ENGAGE UPPER DOOR AND ACTIVATE WARNING LIGHT. UPON TOUCHDOWN, ROLLOUT APPEARED NORMAL TO APPROX 4000 FT DOWN RWY AND ACFT HAD DRIFTED TO L SIDE OF RWY. MY COPLT INFORMED ME HE HAD LOST THE BRAKES AND I TOOK CTL OF THE ACFT. I CONFIRMED NO NORMAL BRAKING AND ACTIVATED EMER BRAKING. THE ACFT VEERED L AND EXITED THE RWY INTO SOFT SAND WHERE WE STOPPED. NO DAMAGE OR INJURIES. WE ARE WRITING PROC TO ADDRESS TKOF ABORTS IN FUTURE TO DISSIPATE HEAT IN BRAKES WHICH WE BELIEVE CAUSED THIS INCIDENT.
