Narrative:
Problem occurred during preflight and went unnoticed till switching over to departure control. Departure control noticed wrong squawk code. Upon investigation, discovered inadvertently received clearance for dca-palm beach flight instead of flight dca- fll. Contributing factors: aircraft swap occurred in dca. Original aircraft broke. It was replaced by an aircraft originally scheduled to go to palm beach. That flight was cancelled. Failure of the first officer to verify clearance was the correct one. Clearance was received via ACARS. Squawk code entered was one assigned to flight for pbi. Rushing to get flight out because of delay, plus numerous interruptions in cockpit during preflight.
