Narrative:
Lost right electrical. Restored power with APU electrical (generator). When electrical was restored, lost pressurization. Requested descent. Was given 24000 ft. At 24000 ft ATC would not give us lower. Declared an emergency. Was given lower. Requested a diversion to ord airport. Was denied clearance to ord. This is the reason for the report. I'm on an emergency and yet was denied. (However, they did change their minds and give us clearance to ord.)

Narrative: LOST R ELECTRICAL. RESTORED PWR WITH APU ELECTRICAL (GENERATOR). WHEN ELECTRICAL WAS RESTORED, LOST PRESSURIZATION. REQUESTED DSCNT. WAS GIVEN 24000 FT. AT 24000 FT ATC WOULD NOT GIVE US LOWER. DECLARED AN EMER. WAS GIVEN LOWER. REQUESTED A DIVERSION TO ORD ARPT. WAS DENIED CLRNC TO ORD. THIS IS THE REASON FOR THE RPT. I'M ON AN EMER AND YET WAS DENIED. (HOWEVER, THEY DID CHANGE THEIR MINDS AND GIVE US CLRNC TO ORD.)
