Narrative:

After landing at opf airport I was ramp checked and did not have my medical or aircraft registration on board. My medical showed up in the computer at oklahoma city as being out of date along with the aircraft showing the old owner. I went sep/xx/93 for another medical and started researching where the registration and bill of sale had gone that we mailed in to the FAA. The miami office gave me original forms to resubmit. We purchased this aircraft and mailed in both forms and $5.00. I have not heard back yet. In my reflection of the chain of events, the local court house could be used as a filing location for registrations being forwarded to the FAA. This would let ownership and registration paper trail start sooner along with an immediate recording in state records as in other vehicles.

Title: PLT OF AN SMA SEL ACFT DID NOT HAVE CURRENT PLT MEDICAL OR ACFT REGISTRATION CERTIFICATES.

Narrative: AFTER LNDG AT OPF ARPT I WAS RAMP CHKED AND DID NOT HAVE MY MEDICAL OR ACFT REGISTRATION ON BOARD. WE PURCHASED THIS ACFT AND MAILED IN BOTH FORMS AND $5.00. I HAVE NOT HEARD BACK YET. IN MY REFLECTION OF THE CHAIN OF EVENTS, THE LCL COURT HOUSE COULD BE USED AS A FILING LOCATION FOR REGISTRATIONS BEING FORWARDED TO THE FAA. THIS WOULD LET OWNERSHIP AND REGISTRATION PAPER TRAIL START SOONER ALONG WITH AN IMMEDIATE RECORDING IN STATE RECORDS AS IN OTHER VEHICLES.
