Narrative:
On arrival from the west to dal, we were turned over to final controller who advised us of 2 mlt's with parachute jumpers crossing overhead and dropping parachutists for an air show at dal, utilizing runway 13L. The turn to final for us was a little shorter than anticipated, and we were higher than normal when we were turned over to tower. We requested a 360 degree turn (several attempts, finally acknowledged) to be in a better position on approach and to try to see the jumpers so we could avoid them. Tower allowed us to make the 360 degree turn away from the jumpers and we executed it. On turning final, we saw several jumpers just starting to touch down, and no conflict became apparent throughout this sequence of events.

Title: WHILE ON FINAL APCH FOR RWY 13R, MLG MANEUVERS TO AVOID PARACHUTE JUMPERS USING RWY 13L.
Narrative: ON ARR FROM THE W TO DAL, WE WERE TURNED OVER TO FINAL CTLR WHO ADVISED US OF 2 MLT'S WITH PARACHUTE JUMPERS XING OVERHEAD AND DROPPING PARACHUTISTS FOR AN AIR SHOW AT DAL, UTILIZING RWY 13L. THE TURN TO FINAL FOR US WAS A LITTLE SHORTER THAN ANTICIPATED, AND WE WERE HIGHER THAN NORMAL WHEN WE WERE TURNED OVER TO TWR. WE REQUESTED A 360 DEG TURN (SEVERAL ATTEMPTS, FINALLY ACKNOWLEDGED) TO BE IN A BETTER POS ON APCH AND TO TRY TO SEE THE JUMPERS SO WE COULD AVOID THEM. TWR ALLOWED US TO MAKE THE 360 DEG TURN AWAY FROM THE JUMPERS AND WE EXECUTED IT. ON TURNING FINAL, WE SAW SEVERAL JUMPERS JUST STARTING TO TOUCH DOWN, AND NO CONFLICT BECAME APPARENT THROUGHOUT THIS SEQUENCE OF EVENTS.
