Narrative:
At the airport in las, nv, and in some cases at the airport in phx, az, the blue taxiway border lights have been taken out. This, I feel, takes away a great deal of depth perception during night taxi operations. For maximum safety during ground operations at night, the blue taxiway border lights should be in place/installed. The blue lights should be installed in addition to the green centerline lights. I have talked with several other pilots about this matter. All have been in total agreement about the necessity of the blue lights. This is a decision that should not be decided by city and/or state budgets and government.
