Narrative:
Departed pit en route to sfo with maximum fuel and maximum takeoff weight. Scheduled to land at sfo with minimum fuel 3800 pounds VFR. Winds not favorable, had to stop for fuel. Closest place was fat. Company dispatcher wanted us to land at rno or smf. Both were further away. Told company via ACARS we were going to fat. Fuel truck waiting. 10 mins later, taxied out with 12500 pounds fuel (landed with 4200 pounds). Took approximately 1 hour to get weight and balance release. Dispatcher claims he didn't know where we were, and that we did everything wrong.
