Narrative:
We were flight planned for the dallas 9 departure quitman transition. The pre departure clearance changed the transition from quitman to the shreveport transition. We missed the change. Departure was to the north out of dfw. We were given a right turn intercept the SID on course. After intercepting the dfw 078 degree outbound, departure control asked for flight plan route. He saw that we intercepted the 078 degree and gave us a vector to intercept the 090 degree outbound for the proper transition. There was no conflict. We were only tracking the 078 degree for a short time.
