Narrative:
We ran all checklists and everything was ready for takeoff. We taxied on the runway and I set the power prior to 60 KTS. As the airspeed increased and just prior to 80 KTS we got a takeoff warning horn. I aborted the takeoff and pulled off the runway and checked confign and everything was in the correct position. We told ATC we wanted to go back to the gate and that we did not need any assistance. There were no accidents or incidents. We had maintenance check and sign off the aircraft as airworthy and left about an hour later for bos with no problems. I have no idea what caused the problem as everything was in the correct confign for takeoff.
