Narrative:
While flying on a 270 degree heading at approximately 2600 ft MSL, approximately 1 mi north of these coordinates: cmi VOR 045 degrees at 10 mi, I had an occurrence with a sbound, high wing turboprop, inbound to cmi. When landing at C16, I was told to call cmi tower. At approximately XD45 pm, I did. The person answering the phone was unaware of any message or reason for my being contacted. I thanked him and hung up.
