Narrative:
In sum: a single pilot cpr small transport reports that he is upset with his handling by ZDC. His flight plan was changed completely while he was still on the ground, then was changed again more than once while airborne. His autoplt did not hold altitude causing an altitude excursion that was noted by ZDC. He states that he has flown into many high density airports with no problem, but this was less than fun.
