Narrative:
Tpa radar was out for maintenance and tpa TRACON was working all airspace off of srq ASR-9 scope. The extended ctrlines of tap's runways are not aligned properly on the srq map. Departures of runway 36L appear to depart off 36R. Departures off 36R appear to depart 1/2 to 1 mi east of the airport. This also creates a problem when vectoring to the final. We also had a strong west wind which forced departures to the east. West departure owns airspace west of the runway extended ctrlines and east departure owns that airspace east of the extended ctrlines. With the map error it is very possible my departures violated east departure's airspace.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: VIDEO MAP ALIGNMENT OFF.
Narrative: TPA RADAR WAS OUT FOR MAINT AND TPA TRACON WAS WORKING ALL AIRSPACE OFF OF SRQ ASR-9 SCOPE. THE EXTENDED CTRLINES OF TAP'S RWYS ARE NOT ALIGNED PROPERLY ON THE SRQ MAP. DEPS OF RWY 36L APPEAR TO DEPART OFF 36R. DEPS OFF 36R APPEAR TO DEPART 1/2 TO 1 MI E OF THE ARPT. THIS ALSO CREATES A PROB WHEN VECTORING TO THE FINAL. WE ALSO HAD A STRONG W WIND WHICH FORCED DEPS TO THE E. W DEP OWNS AIRSPACE W OF THE RWY EXTENDED CTRLINES AND E DEP OWNS THAT AIRSPACE E OF THE EXTENDED CTRLINES. WITH THE MAP ERROR IT IS VERY POSSIBLE MY DEPS VIOLATED E DEP'S AIRSPACE.
