Narrative:

Low oil pressure light came on with pressure of approximately 35 psi. Cockpit operating procedures began. Oil pressure decreased to less than 20 psi and oil quantity dropped rapidly to '0.' engine shutdown according to approved procedures. Emergency declared. WX at destination (mci) at time was 3 overcast 1/2 lr. Diverted to oma (122 mi away) WX 110 overcast 6. Uneventful single engine landing made. All center, approach and tower personnel were of great help and handled their jobs in a most professional manner.
