Narrative:
Bright lights form new golf driving range off end of runway 15L, jackson, ms. Very distracting. Pass over lights about 200 ft above minimums in order to see runway lights before passing golf range, intensity turned up. After passing golf range, night vision ruined and runway lights too bright. Will be more unsafe in IMC conditions. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter states that he called the jan tower regarding the lights. The tower reported that he was not the first one to complain about the lights, and suggested that he might write an ASRS report. He has also filled out a form that alerts his chief pilot to this problem. He has not been back to jan to see if there has been any changes.
