Narrative:

All departure frequencys were being blocked, squelch was broken on all frequencys. Communication was not possible to departing aircraft at various times. Late turns were made, separation was not lost but if the frequency did not clear up as it did, separation would have been lost. Reason unknown for the radio problems. Supplemental information from acn 259108: I was working the arrival south feeder position handoff. Squelch break was horrible completely blocking approximately 30 percent of all readbacks. This happened during a major inbound push and there was not enough frequency time available to keep soliciting a 'readable' readback. I am not a technician therefore I have no idea what caused it or how to resolve it.
