Narrative:
Loss of #3 hydraulic system. Aircraft was being flown with #2 autoplt. Loss of hydraulic system caused loss of autoplt. Plane pitched up, gaining approximately 500 ft before we could manually return aircraft to level flight at 370. ZDV was advised of problem and cause.

Title: HYD SYS LOSS CAUSES WDB TO PITCH UP AND GAIN 500 FT.
Narrative: LOSS OF #3 HYD SYS. ACFT WAS BEING FLOWN WITH #2 AUTOPLT. LOSS OF HYD SYS CAUSED LOSS OF AUTOPLT. PLANE PITCHED UP, GAINING APPROX 500 FT BEFORE WE COULD MANUALLY RETURN ACFT TO LEVEL FLT AT 370. ZDV WAS ADVISED OF PROB AND CAUSE.
