Narrative:

I noticed a low oil pressure light flicking with the associated oil pressure needle erratic and decreasing in value. The captain decided where we would direct to as the aural alert for the low oil pressure was sounding. He coordinated with ATC as he was completing all emergency and normal checklists. Performed a single engine ILS to a landing without incident. Maintenance performed the night before at a maintenance base was the cause. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter could not amplify on his statement that 'maintenance was the cause' except to say that he had heard that there was a wrong part installed or possibly a line was not properly tightened. The crew declared an emergency and landed en route at grr.
