Narrative:
Mco tower cleared flight into position on runway 36R. Read back clearance by myself (first officer). Taxied into position on runway 36R. Moments later, another aircraft advised tower of aircraft on his landing runway 36R. Mco tower told aircraft to go around. Tower then advised he had cleared us to cross runway 36R and position and hold on runway 36L. We believed we acknowledged position and hold on runway 36R.

Narrative: MCO TWR CLRED FLT INTO POS ON RWY 36R. READ BACK CLRNC BY MYSELF (FO). TAXIED INTO POS ON RWY 36R. MOMENTS LATER, ANOTHER ACFT ADVISED TWR OF ACFT ON HIS LNDG RWY 36R. MCO TWR TOLD ACFT TO GAR. TWR THEN ADVISED HE HAD CLRED US TO CROSS RWY 36R AND POS AND HOLD ON RWY 36L. WE BELIEVED WE ACKNOWLEDGED POS AND HOLD ON RWY 36R.
