Narrative:

Descending on the cce 4 arrival cce to worpp, we were given descent clearance to 6000 ft, I read back 6000 ft and the first officer acknowledged it per pcdr. Passing through 15500 ft the controller told us to climb to 16000. We complied, I questioned the original clearance and was told we had been cleared to 16000, not 6000 ft. I asked and was assured by ATC 130.25?? That no conflict took place. He also acknowledged he missed our readback of 6000 ft.

PASSING THROUGH 15500 FT THE CTLR TOLD US TO CLB TO 16000. WE COMPLIED, I QUESTIONED THE ORIGINAL CLRNC AND WAS TOLD WE HAD BEEN CLRED TO 16000, NOT 6000 FT. I ASKED AND WAS ASSURED BY ATC 130.25?? THAT NO CONFLICT TOOK PLACE. HE ALSO ACKNOWLEDGED HE MISSED OUR READBACK OF 6000 FT.
