Narrative:
Air carrier X dc-9 departing runway 18. Aircraft Y, a training flight departing runway 27. Aircraft Y had to abort takeoff to avoid conflict with the dc-9. There were several other aircraft trying to land on runways 9, 18, and 27. Wind was approximately 230/10 KTS. I've been installing a new ARTS operational program and testing it after the tower/approach control closes at 1130 pm. The past several nights have been quite busy at this time. The tower (flint) should be open until midnight.
