Narrative:
Approximately 15 mi out from cho encountered light icing. ZDC advised ATIS changed. Got new ATIS which indicated previous aircraft encountered light icing on approach. My aircraft was equipped with boots and some other ice protection system but not equipped for flight into known icing. I decided to continue approach and land to be the best way to get out of the icing. After switching to tower, another aircraft advised they had encountered ice on approach. I continued and landed without incident but did pick up some ice.
