Narrative:
Advised the 'a' flight attendant we would arrive sea at XX252. First officer was flying. During descent, we briefed for a possible catiii approach, with captain assuming control of the aircraft if the visibility went below 2400 ft RVR. ATIS visibility was 2800 ft RVR. We were kept high downwind due to conflicting traffic. Approach control advised the RVR was now 1400 ft. Short turn on to final and captain now took control of aircraft. Configured aircraft for landing and landing check completed prior to OM. Cabin announcement given prior to OM. Completed automatic landing. At 'blocks' a flight attendant advised me 3 cabin attendants were standing during the landing and may have been injured. Company procedures are to make a cabin announcement about 5 min prior to landing. When the announcement was late we could have stated the time to landing.
