Narrative:
Ase WX below minimums (ril) rifle WX 45 overcast -X 4-5 calm winds, braking action fair to good. Executed the approach. Touchdown braking action nil! Slid off end of runway onto smooth grass overrun. Prior to leaving runway, to slow aircraft, shut down all engines to reduce thrust (idle). The braking action was not updated. Another aircraft landed before we did but did not forward any report to us. If we would have known it was nil braking we would have gone to den. We went around (on overrun) taxi lights and localizer ant and light (approach) uprights. No damage to passenger or aircraft. We taxied back to gate. Supplemental information from acn 262980: as aircraft neared runway end, all engines were shut down and the hydraulic pump was turned on. Aircraft exited end of runway on centerline and came to stop on a smooth grass covered overrun. Since aircraft hit nothing and appeared undamaged, we proceeded to taxi back onto the runway and to the terminal.

Title: AFTER LNDG, BAE146 CREW FINDS THE BRAKING ACTION TO BE NIL AND SLIDES OFF END OF RWY.
Narrative: ASE WX BELOW MINIMUMS (RIL) RIFLE WX 45 OVCST -X 4-5 CALM WINDS, BRAKING ACTION FAIR TO GOOD. EXECUTED THE APCH. TOUCHDOWN BRAKING ACTION NIL! SLID OFF END OF RWY ONTO SMOOTH GRASS OVERRUN. PRIOR TO LEAVING RWY, TO SLOW ACFT, SHUT DOWN ALL ENGS TO REDUCE THRUST (IDLE). THE BRAKING ACTION WAS NOT UPDATED. ANOTHER ACFT LANDED BEFORE WE DID BUT DID NOT FORWARD ANY RPT TO US. IF WE WOULD HAVE KNOWN IT WAS NIL BRAKING WE WOULD HAVE GONE TO DEN. WE WENT AROUND (ON OVERRUN) TAXI LIGHTS AND LOC ANT AND LIGHT (APCH) UPRIGHTS. NO DAMAGE TO PAX OR ACFT. WE TAXIED BACK TO GATE. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 262980: AS ACFT NEARED RWY END, ALL ENGS WERE SHUT DOWN AND THE HYD PUMP WAS TURNED ON. ACFT EXITED END OF RWY ON CTRLINE AND CAME TO STOP ON A SMOOTH GRASS COVERED OVERRUN. SINCE ACFT HIT NOTHING AND APPEARED UNDAMAGED, WE PROCEEDED TO TAXI BACK ONTO THE RWY AND TO THE TERMINAL.
