Narrative:
We were scheduled for a XX50 am departure mex to dfw. Another air carrier had our gate and was late leaving. I started my walk around at XX26 am. First thing I noticed was the nlg pin installed and I had the tow truck driver get out and remove it. I completed the rest of my walk around and, to the best of my knowledge, the medium large transport pins were not installed. After takeoff, we noticed that both mlgs were still down. We ran the procedure and flew gear down to mfe where we dropped in for fuel. Upon landing we checked and found gear pins in both the medium large transport. Pins were pulled, aircraft refueled and flight continued to dallas. I still think the pins were pulled and maybe the spanish speaking ground crew reinserted the gear pins. May have been a language problem. Or I missed them.
