Narrative:

While in cruise at FL290 spotted traffic on TCASII 15 mi ahead and 1000 ft below, climbing. Then we got an RA for climb from TCASII. Captain informed ZOB and I (PF) started the climb. We reached 29700 ft before we got clear of conflict, then we came back down to FL290. ATC was not upset about it, and no further action was required. TCASII has proved to be a life saver for me twice now. It's definitely doing what it's supposed to do.

Title: LGT HAS TCASII RA, RESPONDS.

Narrative: WHILE IN CRUISE AT FL290 SPOTTED TFC ON TCASII 15 MI AHEAD AND 1000 FT BELOW, CLBING. THEN WE GOT AN RA FOR CLB FROM TCASII. CAPT INFORMED ZOB AND I (PF) STARTED THE CLB. WE REACHED 29700 FT BEFORE WE GOT CLR OF CONFLICT, THEN WE CAME BACK DOWN TO FL290. ATC WAS NOT UPSET ABOUT IT, AND NO FURTHER ACTION WAS REQUIRED. TCASII HAS PROVED TO BE A LIFE SAVER FOR ME TWICE NOW. IT'S DEFINITELY DOING WHAT IT'S SUPPOSED TO DO.
