Narrative:
Upon landing at dal the nosewheel of the B-58 I was flying collapsed causing damage to the airframe and both engines. The aircraft was in the proper confign to land, i.e., full flaps, gear down and indicating it was down and locked. However, upon lowering the nosewheel it collapsed. During the preflight I noticed that the right main tire was low and the right main strut fully depressed. I called flight operations to inform them of the problem and after pushing up on the bottom of the right wing had about 3 inches of chrome showing. With this in mind my landing at dal was as gentle as possible.
