Narrative:
On a routine flight from ont-las, we descended and leveled off at 8000 ft. At approximately 18 DME X of the las VOR, approach cleared us for the visual approach to runway 1R. The class B airspace at las was briefed from plate, dated sep/xx/93. Upon reaching 4700 ft MSL at 7 DME las VOR, we encountered a momentary GPWS warning. An immediate climb back to 5000 ft MSL was accomplished. Our instrumentation, including DME, indicated compliance and flight profile was flown as such. The only distraction at the time was parallel VFR traffic landing runway 1L las. No conflict occurred. No comment made by las RAPCON. Landing uneventful.
