Narrative:
During radar vectors by jfk approach control to intercept runway 4L at jfk, we received a TCASII RA to climb. We followed this command by climbing from 3000 ft to 3500 ft. Noticed an aircraft at our 10 O'clock position approximately 200 ft below us. Notified ATC of evasive action due to TCASII alert. No acknowledgement by ATC. Resumed intercept of ILS and landed without further incident.
