Narrative:
ATC advised us to hold short of taxiway 'whiskey' after landing on runway 13. Captain believed he heard taxiway 'X-ray.' we advised him of error as did the ground controller. ATC then ordered him to hold short of 'X-ray'. The captain would not stop. He continued on to 'X-ray'. Controller was now screaming to stop. He finally did! We advised captain again. Aircraft taxiing out departed and we taxied in. The captain has a history of 'sits.'
