After departure at mco radio's (both) were intermittent ATC had problems reaching me. Was on route to 8a7 then lost all navigation capabilities followed roads and cities to prevent going into IMC described below into sav airspace. Did try numerous times to contact ATC, no result.

Title: SMA LOST NAV AND COM WHILE ON AN IFR FLT.
Narrative: AFTER DEP AT MCO RADIO'S (BOTH) WERE INTERMITTENT ATC HAD PROBS REACHING ME. WAS ON RTE TO 8A7 THEN LOST ALL NAV CAPABILITIES FOLLOWED ROADS AND CITIES TO PREVENT GOING INTO IMC DESCRIBED BELOW INTO SAV AIRSPACE. DID TRY NUMEROUS TIMES TO CONTACT ATC, NO RESULT.
