Narrative:
Air carrier X on ILS approach to runway 10R at cmh. TCASII target appeared at approximately airport location. At 700 ft differential TCASII still yellow warning. At 600 ft differential we received an RA to climb. We executed a missed approach meeting the climb rate required by the TCASII. We queried the approach control. He stated that the police helicopter frequently crosses the path. At the very least that kind of information should be on the commercial chart page for the airport. The police should be required to notify the tower controller due to the simple fact that had we not had TCASII the possibility of a midair exists.
