Narrative:
Takeoff at maximum allowable for field elevation/temperature. Required 0 degree flaps with 6 percent overspd. During takeoff roll extensive portion of tire retread separated from #3 main tire. Approximately 12 inches of trailing edge of right flap was torn from wing. Right engine cowling dented on bottom. Rubber scuff marks in right engine's inlet indicating probable foreign object damage ingestion. Had no indication of problem until ground crew noted damage after arrival at msp. Flight time approximately 3 hours 30 mins. Note: all tires noted to be in good condition (almost new) during preflight.
