Narrative:
After push and start on the air-carrier ramp, we called chicago 'ground-metering' (121.647) for taxi. Instead of being transferred to chicago ground-control (121.75) as is normal, we were cleared to `taxi to runway 27L via taxiway 'F' and 'M.' while approaching taxiway M on F we suddenly spotted a falcon jet coming around the corner from our right at a very high rate of speed on taxiway M. We made a sudden stop with our nose protruding into taxiway M. The falcon jet never slowed, but just veered to the far side of the taxiway and kept going at high speed. When queried, the controller didn't seem to know anything about the falcon jet. When asked if we should switch to ground control frequency, he said to stay with him. Two factors seemed to have contributed to a near ground collision. There appears to have been a lack of coordination of ground aircraft movements among the various ground controllers, and the falcon jet was travelling, apparently unmonitored, at an excessive taxi speed.

Title: GND INCIDENT HOLDING POS NOT GIVEN.
Narrative: AFTER PUSH AND START ON THE AIR-CARRIER RAMP, WE CALLED CHICAGO 'GND-METERING' (121.647) FOR TAXI. INSTEAD OF BEING TRANSFERRED TO CHICAGO GND-CTL (121.75) AS IS NORMAL, WE WERE CLRED TO `TAXI TO RWY 27L VIA TXWY 'F' AND 'M.' WHILE APCHING TXWY M ON F WE SUDDENLY SPOTTED A FALCON JET COMING AROUND THE CORNER FROM OUR R AT A VERY HIGH RATE OF SPD ON TXWY M. WE MADE A SUDDEN STOP WITH OUR NOSE PROTRUDING INTO TXWY M. THE FALCON JET NEVER SLOWED, BUT JUST VEERED TO THE FAR SIDE OF THE TXWY AND KEPT GOING AT HIGH SPD. WHEN QUERIED, THE CTLR DIDN'T SEEM TO KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE FALCON JET. WHEN ASKED IF WE SHOULD SWITCH TO GND CTL FREQ, HE SAID TO STAY WITH HIM. TWO FACTORS SEEMED TO HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO A NEAR GND COLLISION. THERE APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN A LACK OF COORD OF GND ACFT MOVEMENTS AMONG THE VARIOUS GND CTLRS, AND THE FALCON JET WAS TRAVELLING, APPARENTLY UNMONITORED, AT AN EXCESSIVE TAXI SPD.
