Narrative:

Arriving dfw with ill passenger. ATC told us to expect runway 35L. We were arriving over bridgeport. Normal runway would be 36L. Flight attendant called cockpit while I was calling ground for paramedics. PF overshot turn point on STAR by 6 mi. I was overloaded trying to handle passenger situation and coordinate with emergency personnel. Co-pilot missed turn point because of confusion over expected runway. ATC vectored us to downwind with no apparent separation loss. Supplemental information from acn 268625: we has a passenger in the cabin that had lost consciousness and was being treated by a doctor who was traveling on the flight. There were several calls made back and forth between the cabin crew and cockpit during the event.
