Narrative:
Listening to CTAF a and D completing cockpit before takeoff checks at hold short line of runway 20 at iyk we heard aircraft reporting midfield downwind, moments later aircraft reported turning base, at that time we were complete with checks and reported on CTAF that we were taking active runway 20 for takeoff. Other aircraft then informed us that he was very short final. Within 1 or 2 seconds we saw aircraft overhead and executing go around. He accused us of cutting him off, and we informed him that we took the active on his base turn call and he never called final. To summarize: if aircraft intends on making short approach, the pilot should inform the rest of us that those are his intentions. This pilot made his base to final turn over the runway itself, making it impossible to see him.

Title: POTENTIAL CONFLICT AT A NON TWR ARPT. UNAUTH RWY ENTRY.
Narrative: LISTENING TO CTAF A AND D COMPLETING COCKPIT BEFORE TKOF CHKS AT HOLD SHORT LINE OF RWY 20 AT IYK WE HEARD ACFT RPTING MIDFIELD DOWNWIND, MOMENTS LATER ACFT RPTED TURNING BASE, AT THAT TIME WE WERE COMPLETE WITH CHKS AND RPTED ON CTAF THAT WE WERE TAKING ACTIVE RWY 20 FOR TKOF. OTHER ACFT THEN INFORMED US THAT HE WAS VERY SHORT FINAL. WITHIN 1 OR 2 SECONDS WE SAW ACFT OVERHEAD AND EXECUTING GAR. HE ACCUSED US OF CUTTING HIM OFF, AND WE INFORMED HIM THAT WE TOOK THE ACTIVE ON HIS BASE TURN CALL AND HE NEVER CALLED FINAL. TO SUMMARIZE: IF ACFT INTENDS ON MAKING SHORT APCH, THE PLT SHOULD INFORM THE REST OF US THAT THOSE ARE HIS INTENTIONS. THIS PLT MADE HIS BASE TO FINAL TURN OVER THE RWY ITSELF, MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO SEE HIM.
