Narrative:
Engine flamed out as we were leveling off at FL410. We squawked 7700 to get the attention of the center controller and requested a descent to FL250 to attempt a relight. The engine parameters were within the relight envelope and a relight was attempted. The engine would not relight and not sure of the reason for the flame out we declared the emergency and landed at rdu. The tower had the crash fire rescue equipment trucks waiting. We gave our information to the crash fire rescue equipment rep. We also called the tower chief to see if he wanted any additional information and he did not. We also called the rdu FSDO and talked to xx and she said that they would be in touch. Maintenance detected a small fuel leak in a fitting on the fuel controller and fixed the leak. Restarted the engine and ground run was normal and we were released by maintenance.
