Narrative:

It was my leg, first officer. We thought we had efd and requested a visual approach to runway 17R. We contacted tower and were cleared to land 17R. In fact we were lined up for runway 17 at hou (hobby) field. ATC noticed our mistake and called efd tower who informed us of our error. We then turned left and made a right base to runway 17R at efd. We may have violated hobby's airspace, but we know of no other problems. The ILS for 35L at efd was turned on, so we had no navigator guidance to efd 17R. Also efd and hou are 5 mi apart.
