Narrative:

While on coupled approach into runway 8L atlanta, experience wake turbulence from 757 sufficient to roll my 737 to 40 degrees bank -- separation was approximately 3 mi -- upon crossing 'fence' (approach end of runway) experienced wake turbulence again and executed missed approach at approximately 100 ft. 757 had landed with approximately 3 mi separation. Wind was 090/10 KTS. After first encounter, localizer and GS were recaptured and aircraft slowed down in effort to increase separation.
