Narrative:

After landing from a practice flight, I learned that I had been operating in the vicinity of an arrival route to the charlotte, nc, airport. I was well aware of the existence of the charlotte class B airspace, and stayed well clear. However, I was not familiar with TCASII and did not realize that my high rates of climb and descent could possibly trigger an alert in a TCASII equipped aircraft. I am filing this report just in case an aircraft so equipped filed a near miss report. The visibility was unlimited and I saw several other 'airline' type aircraft, but at no time was there a possible conflict.
