Narrative:

Commuter flight a, our aircraft, was cleared to land runway 17R at lrd. There was an FAA flight check aircraft that was cleared to land runway 17L which crossed him in front of us. We were looking for him. At around that time a mexican cheyenne announced he was on a 3 mi final for runway 17R, which was our location. We spotted him, (cheyenne), 2 mi west on final for runway 14. At that time, the tower informed the cheyenne that he is lined up for runway 14 and to make a turn wbound. The cheyenne makes a left turn at 1 mi toward us! We then climbed and banked left. Cheyenne tracked outbound on final as did we, paralleling each other. Meanwhile commuter B was on final to runway 17R behind us and was told to switch to runway 17L, however, flight check was doing touch-and-goes on runway 17L and commuter B had to go around as well.
