Narrative:

We had finished the taxi and before takeoff checklist. It was my leg to fly. The captain was taxiing the aircraft. I had my head and eyes down in the cockpit reading the tol card and giving the takeoff briefing. When I looked up the captain had taxied through the runway hold line and was in the center of the taxiway exterior of the runway center line of runway 5R at mexico city airport. I looked to the left and saw an large aircraft on final 1 1/2 mi turning to the left to side step to runway 5L. As I was telling the captain we were on the taxiway extension to runway 5R the ground control advised us we were on the runway 5R. The captain made a 180 degree turn to the left and vacated the runway. Takeoff briefing should be done on the ramp with the aircraft parked, not on the taxi roll.
