Narrative:

On jun/tue/94, while working at abilene radar approach control, I became aware that a T-37 had been issued an IFR clearance to sheppard air force base as filed when, in fact, there existed no such flight plan. The aircraft had already been cleared for takeoff before the error had been detected. Abilene approach control re-issued an IFR clearance after obtaining a flight plan and entering it into the system. Reported to FAA supervisor the following day. No action taken.

Title: T-37 FLT PLAN DROPPED FROM COMPUTER.

Narrative: ON JUN/TUE/94, WHILE WORKING AT ABILENE RADAR APCH CTL, I BECAME AWARE THAT A T-37 HAD BEEN ISSUED AN IFR CLRNC TO SHEPPARD AIR FORCE BASE AS FILED WHEN, IN FACT, THERE EXISTED NO SUCH FLT PLAN. THE ACFT HAD ALREADY BEEN CLRED FOR TKOF BEFORE THE ERROR HAD BEEN DETECTED. ABILENE APCH CTL RE-ISSUED AN IFR CLRNC AFTER OBTAINING A FLT PLAN AND ENTERING IT INTO THE SYS. RPTED TO FAA SUPVR THE FOLLOWING DAY. NO ACTION TAKEN.
