Narrative:

Problem arose when PIC lost sight of IFR hold short sign mounted on side of taxi ramp. Sign not visible when taxiing tail dragger. Hit sign with propeller (at idle RPM). Focus on ground objects in taxi path in advance of reaching area, plan taxi route ahead of time employ s-turns to clear vision.
