Narrative:
We have had an ongoing problem with our icss system. The position's fail at random. Sometimes they can be reset in the cabin attendant and at other times they have to be reset in the equipment room 3 floors down. This is an unsafe condition and could lead to an incident or accident if they should fail at a critical time. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter stated the problem was found to be in the mother board of the system and this has been replaced.
