Narrative:
At sierraville dearwater airport in california, O79, the county road is about 500 ft from the end of the northeast runway. Next to this dirt road are 2 8-FT high poles used to mark the road for snow removal. They are directly in line with the runway centerline! Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter states that he believes this is a county airport and the county could certainly move these poles 40-50 ft down the road with no adverse effect. Someone had bent down one of the poles. So reporter bent the other one to give a hint to the county.
